My photography habit started out with my becoming interested in travel & nature photography. In order to feed my NAS (Nikon Acquisition Syndrome) I began photographing weddings. I  have been doing this  professionally for over 20 years. Until the past 5 years, most of my professional work has been event photography where I was photographing up to 30 events a year along with my full time law practice. Being a true Gemini, I wasn't satisifed just sticking with any one particular aspect of photography. I became cetified as an underwater photographer with the Nikon School of Underwater Photography on Cayman Brac in the Cayman Islands, studied professional nature photography with David Middleton through the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana, & took numerous workshops through them.
 
Event photographers must be quick on their feet and ready to deal with a crisis at a moment's notice. Underwater photography is particularly demanding in this respect. It is an excellent training tool, since in addition to being ready to shoot unpredictable sea life and having my camera ready, I must also pay close attention to my scuba gear, air supply and changing conditions underwater.  More recently, I have found that photographing nature & its wildlife, along with the underwater photography,  has become a real grounding force for me. This finding of such a powerful source of satisfaction has led me to  mentor others though workshops and seminars so that they may also have success with their photographic achievements.
 
My work is on display at several locations around Atlanta including Thompson Gallery in East Cobb, Atlanta Scuba, State Board of Workers Compensation, Harmony Restaurant, and the Candler Building downtown.
